Schull Books is owned and run by Barbara and Jack O’Connell. We have been in business as booksellers and publishers since 1981. We deal mainly in out of print, secondhand and antiquarian books on all subjects, and specialise in books of Irish interest and in Military History. We also publish books on the histories of the Disbanded Irish Regiments of the British Army and on the involvement of the Irish in the Great War.

We have a bookroom at our house, to which visitors are welcome by appointment, and in the summer months we have a shop in Ballydehob village, in this beautiful south-west corner of Ireland. We issue catalogues on our specialist subjects, and would be happy to put you on our mailing list.

We are members of ABE and a selection of our stock is listed on the ABE website at www.abebooks.com

We also operate a fine binding service, with custom bindings in leather or cloth. Single volumes or sets can be bound as required, and special items, perhaps to commemorate a birth or anniversary, can be individually produced. Ask for a brochure or quotation.
